Every pre-owned device is carefully inspected and graded according to its appearance. Whether you choose Like New or a more affordable option, we want you to know exactly what to expect. We use the same grades when you trade in or sell a device to us.
Grades describe how a device looks. Retail-ready grades are all fully functional.
Virtually flawless, with no visible scratches, dents or chips under normal viewing conditions.
Beautiful condition with only extremely fine marks visible under close inspection.
Light signs of use, such as a few fine scratches or small scuffs.
Noticeable scratches, light edge wear or minor dents from everyday use.
Visible scratches, scuffs and dents, but fully functional.
Heavy scratches, dents or chips. A budget-friendly, fully functional device.
Cracked glass or damaged housing. May require refurbishment.
Has physical damage or functional faults. Intended for repair or parts.
Battery health is checked and listed independently of cosmetic condition, so you know how the battery will perform before you buy.

All retail-ready devices are tested for essential functionality. Cosmetic grades describe appearance, not performance. Any replaced components or known limitations are disclosed on the product listing.
Eligible devices include CellTech ZA’s 6-month standard warranty, with an optional 12-month warranty available at an additional cost, subject to warranty terms. Repair-grade and faulty devices are separately identified.
